How to activate your travel card

To redeem a ticket code you must have the HSL app on your smartphone. Instructions for redeeming a ticket code are available on this page.

When redeeming your ticket code, please note the following:

• The ticket is valid from the moment you redeem the ticket code.
• The ticket codes may also have a last day of validity, after which the code can no longer be used to redeem a ticket.
• The ticket will be lost if you delete the HSL app or log out from the app during the validity of the ticket.

If you do not yet have the HSL app on your phone

1. Download the free HSL app on your smartphone from your app store.

• iPhone: download the HSL app from the App Store.
• Android phone: download the HSL app from Google Play.
• Huawei phone: download the HSL app from Appgallery.

2. Once you have downloaded the HSL app use your ticket code as a guest without logging.

 

If you already have the HSL app on your phone

You can redeem a ticket code by entering the code sent to you via email in the HSL app. You can redeem the code either by logging in to your HSL account or without logging in as a guest.

1. Open the HSL app, select “Tickets” and then “Ticket with a code”.

2. Enter the 16-digit ticket code in the empty fields. Please note that the ticket becomes valid from the moment the code is redeemed.

3. All set! You can find the ticket you redeemed under “Tickets” in the app.
